99 Durango 5.2 4wd 116k miles. I just bought it used. It runs good. Drives good. It stalls randomly. I get no codes on the scanner. Going down the road at speed it will randomly stall. No spicker or spuddering. It stalls like the key was turned off. I've tried jiggling the key around while driving it doesn't stall. I've looked at the distributor and wires. Looks OK. I've made sure the battery posts are clean and tight. When it stalls I don't get the no buss text on the odometer. It has stalled, I look for a spot to pull over while coasting and it starts back up on its own. I didn't know automatics would bump start at speed. Any help?
Unfortunately this happens a lot with these trucks and usually it's the pcm. But your case seems different then most. I would check for loose, damaged or corrosion on the harness for the pcm. That would be my first step.
