How to make my late model Chevy last forever?

60,000 mile maintenance

I have a 2019 Colorado ZR2. I intend on driving it until the wheels fall off [question my life choices with a Chevy insult here]. I've been following the recommended maintenance and doing all oil changes on time. I haven't had any issues and the dealership says everything looks good, but, trust issues aside, at 60k what should I be doing and looking for to extent my truck's life?

Welcome new member.

It's probably about due for differential fluid and transmission fluid.  But otherwise, just follow the recommended schedule as you are (except change the oil at least every 5000).

I am not aware of too many problems with that truck - except one: the 8-speed transmission (I am assuming you have the V6 engine; the 6-speed transmission on the 2.8L diesel is fine). If you want to drive it forever, keep fresh fluid in it and avoid towing.  And I would probably start saving up a fund to cover the cost of a new transmission in case it needs it at some point.  I am guessing that with labor it will be somewhere $6-10K.  You may never need it, but it will be a lot less painful if you have prepared yourself for it.

Nothing lasts forever. Especially not modern GM's. The electronics are pretty bad, the workmanship is poor, the paint is awful, etc. They are designed with approximately a 6-8 year lifetime in mind, no matter how well you maintain it.

Honestly, I would trade for something else now before the nightmares begin.

Modern GM vehicles are just not made to last.   You already know Scotty’s position but if you intend to keep the vehicle for as long as possible no matter what then I would follow @Dad2LM2 ‘s suggestions.
