`83 Chevy Impala 229 V-6 headlights & high beams not working

Dear Scotty,

Headlights and high beams are not working, all fuses are good, no fuse listed for headlights or space in fuse box for fuse. Owner`s manual says the headlight circuit is protected by a circuit breaker in the light switch itself, shouldn`t it reset itself? And is that why where is no fuse for the headlight circuit? Is there a headlight relay and where would that be located or is that built into the headlight switch also... because when I look up a headlight relay cannot pull up that specific part. There is also a high beam switch on the column, could this be a problem also? NOTE.. Car was painted and radiator support was replaced, they took all my headlight wires apart and probably shorted them out.

                                                                                                           Thank you Scotty

Was it working before the work (paint/radiator support replacement) was done?  If it was working before, then I’d take it back to them and have them fix it.

The car was in storage, and the body shop come to find out was not paying the lease and they seized the property, just received car back in time and that was a while ago so i have no recourse and they ruined all my door seals also, cant win ! Please reply back to my question, need to get back on the road,Thank You Scotty !

Does this match your car? - https://imgur.com/a/VZ9cMEM

I’d check all your wiring since you suspect they shorted them out.

Scotty has a good video to check headlights - https://youtu.be/WYk2YrQn-Jk
