Thanks for not letting the corporations sabotage your platform.
What are your thoughts about the reliability of the ZF 9 Speed Automatic transmissions in the new Honda trucks (Ridgeline, Pilot, Passport)? I understand that Chrysler and Acura used them in some of their other vehicles with negative feedback. Was wondering if those same transmissions were being used in the Honda's or if there had been any improvements you had heard about.
Also, as a mechanic, how complicated would it be to fix one of these if there was a problem with it? Would you have to potentially chuck the whole transmission for a new one?

Regular mechanics usually just replace transmissions. They don't work on them. It takes a specialist to rebuild a transmission.
