have you ever thought about 5.3 swapping your 94 celica engine with a General Motors NA 5.3 V8??? I figured this would add even better reliability to something that’s already considered decently reliable?

Just in case you missed this Scotty. My 03 Matrix has 80,000 miles since I purchased it new. I’d be very happy to not have to ever buy another car but... one never knows. I’d love to convert to electric if my engine ever blows. It sounds like you’re anxious to convert your Corolla. I’d like to see this done by someone as practical and savvy as you. Trying to swap a GM motor into a Toyota car is a project that isn't worth bothering with at all. You would spend a fortune getting everything to play nice.
What is it with the GM/Toyota engine swap questions lately? It is not "financially sound" to even attempt it.
