95 Toyota Hilux Manuel ln106
when turning the ignition, all lights etc come on, but when I go to start nothing happens. But when I turn the key to ignition the second time it always works.
occasionally when the car is warmed up and I go to start it again it works first go.
recently had a new starter motor put in. What could be the problem?

Of course have all the connectors checked from the battery connectors on the terminals all the way through to the ignition switch to the starter if that all checks okay I would replace the ignition switch first
