'96 Celica Knock Sensor and Connector Replaced, still get P0325

Hey Scotty et al.,

I have a '96 Toyota Celica ST with 264k miles and a MT. OBDII says P0325 - "Generic, Knock Sensor 1 Circuit Bank 1 or Single Sensor."

I've already replaced the knock sensor itself and the knock sensor connector. Code still comes back.

Previous to this the ICM and the ECU were replaced to address separate issues.

Any insight appreciated.

Deus

Low hanging fruit question:  did you replace the knock sensor with an OEM one?

It wasn't OEM. Guess that might be my issue then.

Appreciate this; thanks.
