Bought a 96 ford contour gl automatic with at least 98,000 miles on it but the odometer is broken. The only error code is a random missfire. Just lookin to see how long you think i can expect her to last.

Longevity is always a tricky question to pin down. It depends on how well the former owner(s) took care of it, how well you take care of it, and just plain luck. Sometimes American made cars come out of the factory as duds (so it seems).
