Dear Scotty,
97 Toyota Tercel Red Hawk 3 speed automatic
got a red hawk tercel with 113k on it, I bought it from the original owner and it was well taken care of. I think the trans fluid has been changed once but I can’t verify it. On those 3 speed automatic transmissions, should I drop the pant and replace the transmission filter? Do these 3 speeds have manual valve bodies? I love all your content and have learned a lot, thanks.

When changing the transmission filter, drop the pan, remove the filter and wait until all the transmission fluid comes out but do not flush-just refill.
