98 Lexus LS400 misfire

Hi Scotty. I have a 1998 Lexus LS400 with nearly 274,000 miles. I've owned it about six months now and it's been an amazing car. It recently has developed a bad misfire though. It used to only happen at idle after the car was fully warmed up. Now it happens intermittently and will even clear itself up sometimes as I'm sitting at a stop light. The only codes I've gotten on the scan tool at Orileys was for random misfires and a misfire code for each odd numbered cylinder 1-7. There was a single misfire code for cylinder number 4 but that was the only even numbered cylinder that misfired. Unfortunately I don't have any codes that indicate what might be causing the misfire. One thing I noticed though was that if after it smoothed out, if I goosed the gas pedal the rpms would drop down to around 400 and it would misfire badly again. Could it be something to do with my throttle body or a fuel issue? Vacuum leaks maybe? I should add: As soon as I pull away from a stop the engine smooths out and drives fine. It's great on the interstate but barely runs at a stop light in gear. I'm at a loss so I'm looking to you Scotty!
