unable to loosen bolt

Topic starter

Initially just changing the water pump due to coolant leak that looks as if it's coming from under the timing belt cover... also there was metal shavings and also a black dense cotton ball like around the top pulley. luckily i got the pulley water pump kit to replace they pulleys Aswell, but my other problem is the crankshaft bolt the first person didn't take off the tension lock could that be the cause of the bolt being so stuck because I've tried 3 different types of torque guns and multiple sizes of breaker bars and it's not budging. also, id it a left turn to loosen or right turn just in case I've been tightening it even though I tried both directions to be honest..

Try using the starter. Scotty did a video on doing this with an engine mounted in the longitudinal position.

Your engine is mounted transversely so this video is more applicable to your situation.
