Good day scotty my 99 honda accord occasionally shows check light mostly when it rains. when the light comes on the rpm limits to 3000 which is half of the usual limit .I check all the oils levels etc n don't have a scan tool, do you think my engine or transmission is going hence the reason I keep going in safe mode or what do you think?SpoilerHonda

I could not hazard a guess on that without a scan tool to look at the data realize places like AutoZone scan them free and you can get the code and post it here
