99 Ram 1500 won't start.

Ok, so here's the deal. I've got a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 with the 5.9L V8. It's been sitting for about 5 months since it ran last. When parked it was running very rough, was parked and would not start again. The list of NEW parts (as in, installed after it quit running to attempt to fix it.) on it are as follows. Crankshaft position sensor, distributor cap, rotor, plugs, wires, timing chain, water pump, and air filter, and battery. No check engine light, throwing no codes. I have good fuel pressure, good spark, and some of the cylinders will fire but the engine will not start before it floods... What's my next step?

Thank you in advance for the help.

Insure the crap out of it and set it on fire.

Since the engine is flooding, possibly there are leaky injectors?

Ok, so update, idk what black magic happened, but I let it sit for a few more hours, cranked it again, and after about 10 seconds of cranking it actually started. It idles great, chokes out when I step more than a quarter of the way down on the throttle, but the longer it ran the better that got, started it 5 times now, every time it started up a little bit faster. Fingers crossed that the injectors are a little gummed up, the fuel is a little old, and will swap out the fuel filter for good measure and hopefully we'll be good to go.

You could have bad fuel in the fuel tank.
