My ac works perfect but there is a noise coming from the clutch I guess . My mechanic suggested to change the whole compressor with clutch instead of the clutch only .
Scotty I would like to ask for your opinion on this , the alternator, water pump , power steering pump and idler pulley are new already .

Seeing as how the compressor is 15 years old you might as well replace the whole thing. Be sure to use a new compressor, not a rebuilt one.
