i have a 2005 canyon . ac compressor only runs at higher rpms. it has right amount of refrigerant. just replaced the expansion value. the pressure on high side when idle is running low around 150 low side is way up there. fan clutch is good and the fan runs.

ok problem fixed. I took the throttle body off cleaned it really good. reinstalled ac blowing ice cold now all the time. {black}:smile:

If you are absolutely positively sure it has the right amount of refrigerant compressor is shot and probably expansion valve too

I replaced the expansion value before the compresser would cycle so replaced the valve now it only kicks on when you rev engine specs call for 25.5 oz I put to cans and a small amount out if third.
