AC system smells

Question

AC system on 2008 Honda CRV EX AWD 110000 miles

Hello,

I just replaced my compressor after 3 years of being broken. Blows cold air and appear to work fine. However after sitting for a week I noticed a musty , moldy smell in the interior of the car. When I hook up the gauges on the car the pressures look normal. Also noticed after running the AC for awhile there is no condensation on the ground. I checked the drain hose and it's clear. No clog.

Should I replace the evaporator core and expansion value within the compartment.

Note previous to this musty smell when I only used the heater there was never a musty smell. It started after I fixed the compressor and started using the AC.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks .  I had tried that solution earlier but with no success.  I can try it again if you think it would help. I had used Lysol Disinfectant Spray.  Kills 99.9% or virus and Bacteria.

Worst case would be taking the evaporator out to clean it, at which point you might as well install a new one.
