AC system on 2008 Honda CRV EX AWD 110000 miles
Hello,
I just replaced my compressor after 3 years of being broken. Blows cold air and appear to work fine. However after sitting for a week I noticed a musty , moldy smell in the interior of the car. When I hook up the gauges on the car the pressures look normal. Also noticed after running the AC for awhile there is no condensation on the ground. I checked the drain hose and it's clear. No clog.
Should I replace the evaporator core and expansion value within the compartment.
Note previous to this musty smell when I only used the heater there was never a musty smell. It started after I fixed the compressor and started using the AC.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
You probably have mold growing in the evaporator and vents.

Thanks . I had tried that solution earlier but with no success. I can try it again if you think it would help.
I had used Lysol Disinfectant Spray. Kills 99.9% or virus and Bacteria.

If it's real bad you'll need to get more aggressive with it. Worst case would be taking the evaporator out to clean it, at which point you might as well install a new one. However maybe something like this might work:
