Hi all,

I recently bought a Honda Legend KB1 2007. Absolutely love the car. It has 175,000 miles on it. I've changed all fluids, fitted a new tensior timing belt and water pump.

Replaced sparks and had a valve adjustment done, engine is quiet and no issues that I can identify.

I don't know the service history of the car I bought it off a mechanic as he stated he wasn't doing long drives anymore and fuel was too expensive.

He's a local guy and I trust him kind of. It does use 200ml of oil every 1200km.

I'm worried about the transmission and not sure as to change the ATF or not.

I want to keep this car long term as its the perfect car for me and it only cost me 3000 euro.

I want to get it to 300,000 miles😂.

Besides not crashing do you have any advice, best practice?

Well, if you don't know the history of the transmission fluid leave it alone but it's been changed every 40,000 mi or so. Just keep doing that
