Good Morning,
I have a automatic 2007 Acura TL type s that has about 98k mile on it and when I have my foot on the break pedal the car still accelerates which caused me to go over a parking block and into my parents business building. There was no damage to the building but only minor damage to the front bumper. I checked to see if there was any break fluid leaking around the wheels and there wasn't and the break fluid reservoir was still full. I was wondering if it could be the throttle body needs to be cleaned or if it could be some other electrical components?
OMG - FIRST get your brakes fixed. If your brakes won't hold you when accelerating from a dead stop, there is no way the car is safe to drive. THEN worry about the throttle body, etc.
