Hey Scotty and mods, I was looking for ways to improve the gas mileage on my RV and I came upon this weird method and it seems a bit suspect to me… They say that adding acetone to your gas can improve gas mileage by up to 30%? This seems like a wives tale, but if it’s true I’m giving it a shot, so let me know what you think 😂

Well that's all a bunch of nonsense. Don't mess with things like that. You can destroy your fuel injection system. Realize acetone isn't that cheap. I have to be paying a whole bunch of money. What's the point of better gas mods? If you're paying a ton more money for it. Stick to gasoline
Well it’s a carbureted RV from the 70s lol, but I guessed that it was a bunch of nonsense. Just wanted to check if it was some sort of hidden secret or something 😂. Thanks for the info Scotty.
If there was any truth to this, everyone, even the car manufacturers, would be using/promoting it, especially when the latter wants to advertise their product as the most fuel economic unit.
