A Vibration MYSTERY in Panama

Hello! I came across your YouTube channel when seeking to educate myself regarding a Vibration that has been a great mystery to many mechanics here.  Nissan Pathfinder 2015 Platinum V6 AWD (I wish I had seen your show on Nissan CVT transmission before buying this, but oh well, here I am now).  The main issue is a vibration which has been reviewed by 4 different mechanics(way down south here in the country of Panama) The vibration starts at approx 80 km/hr and then gets worse at 100km/hr… its a little different feeling every time, but at speed the vibration picks up.  I have replaced many parts hoping to resolve this issue, however it still persists.  The situation I am looking at now, which the local Nissan dealership found, are 4 rubber gaskets connecting the large suspension plate(almost the same size as the hood of the car, but shaped like an “H”) however they say I have to buy the WHOLE front suspension piece since it is one of those parts they injection mold the rubber into the metal, so about $4 worth of rubber costs $1300.  I am wondering if you have any advise or experience with this type of part replacement and if there is a way to fix this without having to buy this peice(and ship it to Panama since it costs double here over $2k). Wondering if the dealership advise is honest.  I have been trying to resolve this mystery vibration for a year now and I am feeling “run over”.  Any advise or help would be very much appreciated.  It might cost less to fly you here than to deal w any more parts replacement or mechanics labor fee! There’s a direct flight from Houston! Haha.  Thank you, Panama Lady

Have you tried swapping the front tyres to the back and vice versa?

How old are the tyres?

Hi, Thanks for your input. I have all new wheels and tires, and have gone through loads of balancing. So, we ruled that out. Thanks again.

Well you can't really make parts like that yourself but there are aftermarket companies like dorman and other companies that make those things all. You could try salvage yard for used ones. That's the problem with modern cars they don't make them so you can press bushings in and out and fix them. Cheaply

Hi Scotty, Thank you for your time and attention. I will look into the Dorman brand as I am not sure which aftermarket brands I can trust. Indeed the modern cars are designed to have more complicated and expensive fixes, I wish I found your channel before getting into this mess :/ Good idea for salvage yard too! I’ll explore this also. Thanks again!!
