Adding AT205 Re-Seal to oil burner with Rislone Ring Sealer

1996 Avalon with 55,000 mi

I have added Rislone ring sealer to the car to subdue oil burning.  It still blows out a cloud of smoke in the morning, starting so it seems to be a valve seal issue.

I've read that some people with valve seal problems have gotten good results from AT205.

Is it safe to add AT205 to oil that already has a thickening agent like Rislone in it, or is it best to drain the oil first and start with a new batch? (The prior oil from the previous owner was sludged out and the car didn't smoke until I did an oil change about 800 miles ago).

Thanks for any info!

Additional issue - can a noise of rattling valve indicate location of bad seal? - noise is from front corner cylinder location of v6 engine.

I would change it out before adding the at 205 but any kind of a league and seal ain't going to make a rattling noise that's generally worn bearings which is serious and requires rebuilding an engine

Thanks Scotty, odd that this car was so damaged at such a low mileage. Next door neighbor died and his wife sold me car for $1600. I assumed it was fine, but then checked the oil and saw sludge - changed it out and then it smoked. He had only put about 3500 miles on it after buying it from a Toyota dealership - usually a reputable source...
