i have replaced my old coolant ....what is the correct way to fill the coolant with proper air bleed from the cooling system......i didnt remove the thermostat with coolant replacement and draining?? what are signs of air in the cooling system??
Well if you have an air in the system sometimes it'll run a little bit hotter and when you take corners you'll hear air gurgling and the heater core inside the dash of the car. I use a vacuum machine cuz I'm a mechanic and it sucks the air out. But you could back the car in the driveway that slants down. Then Jack the front end up a little with a jack. Put a fan in front of the car and when it's cold take the radiator cap off. Run it with the AC on full blast and watch it as the air should burp out of the radiator cap which you have removed then and you can keep adding fluid until it's full
@scottykilmer i have used no spill funnel then add coolant massage the radiator pipe some bubbles come out then i start the car turn the heater on highest point with fan on low speed then wait for 25 minutes till fan is on 2 times ......then i take a trip on hilly area with ac on there is no issue regarding heating and ac is running perfectly .....please share your video on coolant refill and air burping...
