2016 Honda Accord
Acouple days ago i hit a deer. Cracked my front bumper, lost plastic covers under the car, as well as my air intake resonator box.
I am going to get everything fixed once the shop is available to work on it. The car still runs and drives with no problem. I actually like the sound that it makes with out the resonator box.
My question is, is the air intake reaonator box actually necessary? Right now driving with out it will it hurt my engine?

No, it's just there to quiet down the engine.
