Why does my Air suspension keep breaking?

We have a 2014 Ram 1500, and the air suspension keeps going out. Dealership has no idea why it keeps going out. They replaced the compressor in it, and an air line but still is out. Another place keeps charging us to get it looked at and all he did was keep resetting it still not working. What would it be?

Do not go to the dealership for the solution. Have an independent mechanic look at the airbag springs and struts.

My wife has a Grand Cherokee with the same system.  It’s not good.  It will keep going out and will be expensive to fix. (Fortunately we have a lifetime warranty on it.)

I can’t tell you exactly what it is without looking at it.  But I am with @kesterpaul62 that getting an opinion from an independent suspension shop might be useful.

While you are at it, look into a spring conversion. They make kits that retrofit the air suspension with regular springs.  You won’t be able to raise and lower, but will be much more reliable.

Sorry to hear about your troubles.
