2007 Honda Odyssey , 203000 Miles .

Recently I took the van for transmission oil change to dealership. after they did inspection they recommended to change timing belt. However a couple years ago I took it a mechanic and changed the water pump ,plugs and coils. I am not sure if he changed the timing belt or not. How can I find out if timing belt was changed or not? .. or do I really need one. I don’t want to loose this van. They said these engines can be damaged if timing belt breaks

If that has the original timing belt it is about 100,000 miles overdue for replacement and a miracle it has not snapped yet. (If that happens your engine will be destroyed.) Your invoice from the previous mechanic should call out whether the timing belt was changed at that time.
