I'm in market for a car, exploring my options. I'm seeing new 2025 camry prices are close to 2020-ish lexus es hybrid prices (w/ 30k-40k miles). Is going the lexus/luxury route going to be best bang for buck?
Or would the long term best choice be to find the v6 version of either car that brings most value?
Have never owned a hybrid, I hear good/bad things. Good is gas mileage. Bad is future battery replacement and the irritations that come with cvt.
My priorities are reliability, low-maintenance costs, drive in comfort and longest potential car life. Thoughts would be appreciated.

If you want long life and comfort then probably V6 Lexus.
But comfort and low maintenance cost are not very compatible. When those luxury features fail eventually, they cost a lot of money to fix.
