friend had a 2018 fire. lights and radio quit working then it caught on fire. I haven't seen much on a history of this happening, but it's a pretty new vehicle.

Two problems: '
1. Fires caused by the EV model, in the European market.
2. Not fires, but they are part of class-action lawsuit, claiming defective engines (the EcoBoost) in the 2015-2019 EcoBoost versions of the Escape.
