Hey guys, I’m currently on the market for a car for my mom and I’m going to college so I want to leave her with a car that will take her where she needs to go. She said she would prefer a suv body type car but I know in this market that will definitely be hard. So basically im asking if you guys have any suggestions to look for. Thank you
For $5,500 , get a sedan or wagon, not a SUV
Got any suggestions for where to look for? I’ve been looking on local apps like Facebook but I’ve been told to not go on Facebook for a car.
Ask everyone you know . Family, friends, coworkers etc.
Craigslist, local classifieds, Autotrader etc.

Adding to suggestions on where to look is if you have a trusted independent mechanic you go to, you can ask them to let you know when they come across a good car another customer is wanting to sell. I've bought used cars this way for a couple people.
