Scotty, I have been thinking about the theory of 10 miles on the highway are the equivalent of 1 mile of stop and go in the city. What do you think about this? Is there anymore wear and tear by setting the cruise at 75 mph on the highway opposed to a conservative 60-65mph range? I drive an 03’ 4 speed with OD Corolla. Thanks!

You decreased the mpg by increasing the speed to 75 and I think for your car, it revs up a bit high, so you strain your engine more compared to 65 mph. I would stick to 60-65.

The lower the speed, the less wear.
