Are Buick’s really the most reliable GM brand?

I’ve noticed that Consumer Reports and other websites say that Buick’s are more reliable than other GM vehicles. Can anybody confirm or deny this? Does it make sense for GM to put more effort into Buick than their other brands?

Trust me, it's not saying much. Kinda like saying you prefer being punched in the left side of your face versus the right. Neither is good. Buick may be the best quality, but it hardly means it's the "best" quality.

If there is any truth to it that just makes Buick the "best" of a bad bunch.

They are all bad under GM, just Buick happens to be a little better than the rest of their brands, which as the others have said is not saying much about Buick.  There’s not really any Buick’s made in the last 15 or so years that I can really recommend for longevity and minimal issues.  Also, take what Consumer Reports says with a grain of salt.

All of the Buick’s considered even remotely reliable are just rebadged Opels. the LaCrosse and the Regal both used to be basically 1:1 Opel Insignias…
