[Solved] Headlight Adjustment 1997 Buick LeSabre

I recently gave a Bambi one heck of a headache and had to replace my headlight assembly. So that I have a match set I went ahead and replace both assemblies. I'm struggling to figure out how to use the adjustment knobs. Each assembly has 2...one towards the exterior of the vehicle and 1 towards the center of the engine. I've gathered that one does up/down and other other left/right. For the life of me I can't see any real changes. Any gearheads recall which knob adjusts what?

Also this replacement part came from Amazon...anyone have an idea what toll I could use to turn a rod that appears like a small Allen key? Pliers don't seem to be doing the trick. It would be an extremely small socket.

Many thanks in advance.

Oh yeah..for anyone interested...hit the deer...reasonably sure the deer didn't make it. Only thing that broke on the car was 1 slit of my grill and the headlight assembly, otherwise short of the fur on the front of the car you wouldn't know anything had happened. She's a beast! 🙂 Hoping to keep her going for many years to come.

Have you consulted a repair manual?

@chucktobias Google never came up with that one. Kept giving me different makes and models. Thank you SO MUCH! 🙂 Center does vertical...that is what I needed.

No problem, glad you found what you needed there. That site (charm.li) is an excellent resource for a wide variety of vehicles.
