Hello Scotty, I have a used 2015 Mustang and I recently saw the lower pipe of the radiator getting kind of flat (deformed) when the car is cold and also I have been losing coolant gradually. I have been told it can be the thermostat; however, my car doesn't heat up and runs very well. I also checked on the floor of my garage and I do not see any leaks nor anywhere on the engine bay.
If I have to replace anything like thermostat or water pump, etc. Are Mishimoto parts any good? Are Auto Zone's Durlast parts better o equally good? Any parts better than the originals from Ford?
Generally speaking Mishimoto are very good parts. They are used a lot for performance upgrades. I don't know about other items, I see a lot of their oil coolers used on track cars.
Mishimoto makes excellent parts. I'm running their catch can in my 2020 Accord right now and may add their cold air intake as well.
I have installed a lot of their coolant tanks in S550's and never had a problem. The parts are pricey but you get what you pay for.
