Are NGK and MOPAR Spark Plugs essentially interchangeable?

Hey Scotty, I heard NGK manufactures MOPAR spark plugs now? OEM Mopar plugs are recommended in the manual for my Jeep, so if the same company makes “better” plugs, ie.. not just copper, under a different name, can I switch without worry?

I remember watching your video a while back about spark plugs and how you said it’s best to stick with what you have already, but I feel like using copper was just a cost saving measure for Fiat to encourage frequent replacement and cheap manufacturing.

What are your thoughts?

On a side note, I was intrigued by NGKs newer Ruthenium plugs and wanted to know if you had any experience with them? They’re definitely overkill for me but it was the first I heard of them.

Love the content! I’m learning new things every day! Thanks!

You should probably wait til NGK comes out with their Unobtanium spark plugs.

Well many spark plugs are theoretically interchangeable if the engineer inspection the same but me I like the NGK for any car
