On my dad's 2017 Kia Optima sx turbo with 61000 miles the passenger side gets colder than the driver side . We dont know why.

Do you have dual zone climate control? If so, you may have stuck blend door or you may also be low on the Freon.
Freon is full and yes it does have dual climate controls
Odds are that the blend door actuator on the driver side is stuck. Whack the dash o the driver side to release it
