I was driving down the interstate and I ran over and exploded tire because some jerk off in a Jaguar wouldn't let me get over. So now my car doesn't have a skid plate. No damage to any part of the engine or transmission, but now I don't have a skid plate. Do I need to replace it or am I good just to drive the car without it?

You likely had no other damage because the skid plate took the hit. The car will work just fine without it but if you hit more road debris you could suffer some serious damage. I'd replace it.

Just find one from a junkyard or online somewhere.
