hi i have a 2003 chevy s10 2.2 automatic that i bought used it has 105,000 miles i would like to change the atf fluid in my manual it says to use dexron 3.
I cannot find this I can find Valvoline max life synthetic atf fluid for my vehicle is it safe to use this or what would you recommend I do not want to tear up my tranny that is why i am scared of changing it. need help! thanks
You want Dexron VI.
It's the best fluid for your transmission.
oreillys says this does not fit under vehicle specific
when i go to the websites like auto zone, advanced. CarQuest and type my vehicle in they all come up. with synthetic tranny oil why is this is it safe to use synthetic or should i stay with conventional
I was topping off my 1979 Pontiac's transmission fluid with this. It's Dex/Merc, compatible with Dexron III. I never had an issue with it. I believe that car specs Dexron II.
thanks, a whole bunch mine cause for dexron 3. i will go to Walmart. and get it.
