Hi,
Since serveral weeks I had the steering indicator yellow light on, but no practical issue with the steering system. Knowing this cas has an electric steering system I have tested the battery and it revealed 50% charged. Could it be the reason ?

Hello,
The first thing is to check the brake lights are all working on the car,
If they are, try this below.
With the car idling do a full lock of the steering wheel to the left, hold for 3 seconds and then full lock to the right and hold for 3 seconds then return to centre and drive,
if this does not resolve the issue then on VCDS you would need to reset the basic settings on the steering angle sensor.
