Should I have my CRV repaired

I have a 97 honda CRV with 197k. It's been reliable but it drives dangerously like a boat and won't stay straight. Mechanic said it needs the entire front suspension replaced and wouldn't do it an alignment. Is it worth fixing or time to get a new car? It's my wife's car we have a baby and I'm about to deploy. What do you think we should do?

Brothers thinks can last a really long time. The suspension parts do wear out, but if I were you I'd get a second opinion from another mechanic as many mechanics tried to upsell stuff. You might find it only needs struts or something like that
