I have a 2013 Tundra 39,000 mi. Being a life long stick driver I find myself down shifting for corners. Is this bad? Wish they came in a manual trans.

Nope. I do the same thing too. It mimics engine braking you normally get when downshifting in a manual.

I do the same thing in my 08' GX470. I am often towing and like to engine brake, but I didn't want to hurt the tranny. The manual says it is perfectly fine.
