I have a 2008 Ford F-150 5.4 triton. 207,000 miles on it majority was hwy miles(I know the previous owner. The tranny has a slow leak and I know he didn't service it. Would I be okay to clean the pan, change the filter and gasket? Also, it's throwing lean codes and multiple cylinder misfire codes but cylinder 7 and 8 are the main issues, plugs and coils have been changed but I noticed it's frying the 4 plugs on the right side(bank 2). The injectors connecters came off the wiring harness. What's the best way to connect those wires and what tape will I need to protect it? I have not seen any videos on rewiring anything. I can send pictures of the codes if you need me to.

I would solder new wiring on and then code them with silicone to seal them in place when you're done. But if you're going to drop the pan and change the fluid realize you're gambling with a vehicle that has that many miles it may start to slip if it works okay I'd personally would leave it alone
