Hi I have a Mercedes 2004 reg kompressor c class when driving it sometimes goes from drive to number 2 where It can't change gear unless you take it out of drive and put it back in can be dangerous on the motorway as can gather enough speed .Any ideas what is causing this? Thanks Darryl

Over engineered German nonsense causes that realize that is a computer driven transmission and the only way you can get any type of diagnosis is with a very expensive Mercedes mechanic using this Mercedes dealer star tester the customer 25 Grand to analyze the system. Good luck finding an honest one of those guys
