Should I change my ATF

I have a 2010 toyota corolla with 191,924 miles on it . It's reached the recommended time the dealership says the fluid needs to be changed but I'm nervous because I've heard if you change the fluid it will mess up the transmission. Plus if I do change it do I get it flushed or changed all together. My transmission is still shifting good . Only little problem I see is when I get up around 60mph it has a little jerk. You barely notice it. Help what should I do?

We've been asked about this kind of thing approximately 23,458,973.2 gazillion times. For that reason there is a site "FAQ"  located near the top of the topic list that has comprehensive details on the issues concerning transmission fluid changes, as well as other topics. Might be worth a look.

New fluid can't hurt a transmission. There's no way for it to "mess it up".

What does your fluid look like now?

First, read the FAQ for background on the subject and watch Scotty's videos.

This person solved his transmission problems by replacing the fluid: https://carkiller.com/scottykilmer/qa/transmission-problem-with-my-2005-camry/

With your mileage, it's a good idea to save the old fluid in case things get worse, but if they do then the transmission had one foot in the grave already and its days were numbered anyway. Just be prepared for that. You may decide it's not worth the hassle or risk if it's shifting more or less OK.

If it has not been serviced at all, leave it alone.
