Battery dead can't access 2004 Highlander

Hi Scotty,

Love your show.

Got an urgent problem. The battery of my 2004 Highlander V6 3.3L with 152k miles is totally dead. I unfortunately locked the car remotely and now can't enter the vehicle to pop the hood and change the battery 😭

Remote key doesn't work, physical key doesn't work either. I sprayed WD40 last night inside the key holes because I thought they might be corroded due to non-use of the physical key to enter the car.

Any idea how I can enter the car or pop the hood from the outside to change the battery and get power back?

Thanks a lot for your precious help 😉

well you have to get that physical key to work let's say you're in a cold area maybe it's frozen heat it up with a hair dryer both the hole and the key itself and you should be able to unlock the car and get inside that's the only other choice you have you have to get inside the car to open the hood

Try all access points with keyholes. Drivers side, passenger side, and cargo.
