??? Have a 2012 Toyota Corolla S 1.8l engine 120,000 miles..Battery will be drained enough that car won't start after sitting only 2 days unused.
Had battery changed..New terminals installed..Starter motor changed..3 different garages..Nobody can find problem..Battery good..No parasite drain.. Alternator charging battery while driving..No check engine light on..Guy at advanced auto suggested something might be turning on after sitting a few hours..??? I now keep a battery trickle charger on car all the time as can't spend anymore $ on car..As had to keep jumping battery on day 3..Have any idea what is going on??
Am frustrated..Only option maybe let dealership keep car for a few days then diagnosis it..but that will cost more $..I already put $2000 into this car..As changed all fluids.. spark plugs..starter motor..tires..
If the battery is good and is fully charged when you park and then is dead in 2 days, you do have a parasitic drain that needs to be tracked down. Don't take it to a dealership or chain shop, seek out a good independent mechanic.
