Hey Scotty. I was just wondering if a 2022 Toyota Corolla se m6 is a good car? It’s the manual transmission. Love your videos.
We have a '21 Corolla SE 6spd. Doesn't have that extra kick like a turbo car, but don't have to worry about a turbo wearing things out faster either. Peace of mind having a normally aspirated engine and manual transmission. It's been great.
Yes, it is as good as modern cars get.
The 2.0L engine is alright, the 1.8L is very reliable but lacks power.
I think the Apex (if possible to get a with a manual) is better.
I'll have a much easier time trusting a new design/technology/engine built by Toyota given their track record so even though the 2.0l is new I would be fine buying one. Or another option is the 2022 Civic hatchback; the Sport trim gives you the 2.0l naturally aspired engine option along with manual transmission.
I don't know if the new ones will last as long as the 1.8, but they're still good vehicles
