Hey, Scotty! We have 3 cars that are getting older so I just purchased a TopDon battery/starter/alternator tester. (Arriving later this week)
You have to tell it what type of battery you have (Regular Flooded; AGM Flat Plate; AGM Spiral; GEC; and EFB) I looked at my batteries and the only thing I see is "AGM" on one. How do I tell what kind of battery I have?
What is the battery model number? I would find out that number and then look it up online; the manufacturer should have some details.
It's most likely a plate AGM. Spiral ones look like this.

Thanks...I was surprised there's 5 different types these days! All, except the Toyota factory battery in the Prius, are from O'Reillys and either Super Start Premium or Super Start Platinum so I'm assuming AGM Flat Plan but even looking at them on the website doesn't say what specifically is the battery type...it's frustrating for sure!
The AGM spiral ones are usually Optima batteries.
