Which of the 4 vehicles would you buy and why?
Honda accord 1.5t
Honda accord 2.0t
Toyota camry 2.5L
Nissan maxima 3.5L
None, I don't know what year they are and how many miles they have on them.
Brand new
Why the down vote @saract?
Did not mean to do that. I am new on this forum still trying to get use to it
Cool.
It looks like you are talking about new vehicles. Don't think about getting a Nissan. Toyota Camry is the more reliable vehicle out of the 3. I prefer the Honda Accord 2.0T myself because I like a good combo of reliability, agility, and interior.
and you would recognize this from your years of driving and owning cars?
(So this is just a personal opinion.) If you are talking about brand new then I would say first the 2.0L Honda Accord, then 1.5L Accord. In general with turbocharged long term reliability isn't fully known, but with turbocharged I would trust Honda more over other brands and also they have fixed their oil dilution issue. For me Camry would be in 3rd place. The reason is Honda makes good cars and I prefer their interior (it feel more roomy compared to the Camry) so for me with Accord I'm not sacrificing quality to get an interior I prefer.
I do like the honda 2.0t but only thing that's keeping me away is the push button shifter.
You mean the pushing a button to move the shifter?! I find that pretty normal; I've had Honda cars with that, Toyota cars with that so it's something normal and isn't an issue in any way in my opinion.
Not a fan of turbos and Nissan is junk. I would get the Toyota off that list.
Thank you
First choice would be the Camry 2.5L and the Accord 2.0T would be my 2nd choice out of that list. Run away from that Nissan. But for around the same price range as an Accord 2.0T, a Camry with the 3.5L V6 would be great.
I do like the honda 2.0t but only thing that's keeping me away is the push button shifter.
Toyota camry 2.5L
BY A LONG SHOT.
They're just better than Honda and Nissan offerings because they have troublesome CVTs.
But the runner up would probably be Accord 2.0L, the CVTs aren't great but at least the rest of the car is generally decent.
