Hello I am 19 and due to circumstances I have to live in my car however I don't know what car insurance or company I should work with I do not want to be stranded if something happens to my car any advice is greatly appreciated as I don't know a whole lot about car insurance and can't really find anything that could give a good answer to this question. I do not mind paying extra cash to have a reliable insurance plan. Let me know your thoughts thank you.

If it's a really old car (like maybe 15-20 years old) it's probably best to save some money and just carry liability insurance. On an old vehicle if anything happens to it the insurance company will just total it right away and give you next to nothing for it. However as @MountainManJoe says your best bet would be to discuss your situation with an insurance agent.
