Scotty,
Enjoy your channel and candor. I'm looking to upgrade from my 07 Ram 1500 Mega Cab 5.7 hemi (153k). I maintain my trucks well and keep in garage. Live near Richmond, VA. What's the best engine/automatic tranny for newer Tacoma? I do not tow and on occasion may haul mulch and tree limbs. 4x4 is not a must have for me.

Front Wheel Drive one with V6 should be good I don't have experience with Tacomas but a 4 cylinder seems foolish on a pickup truck get the tried and true V6. There is also a manual transmission available but the 6 speed autos are pretty bulletproof.
