I'm planning to buy my wife a luxury car.  Ive been thinking about a Maserati like the gibli or the Quartoporte.  Are they good cars to have.  Ive also looked at the LC 500 Lexus.  Thanks for your time

Something like this would be the best Maserati to buy, the cars are even in their natural setting:

Not to forget these masaratti have good resale value 🤣🤣🤣🤣lol

The best Maserati to buy for keeping for a long time does not exist. You better off with leasing one and get it out of your system. The ones you mentioned are between the worst cars in terms of reliability, on the other hand, the LC500 is an excellent car is you don't mind the cost.

Maserati's are toys for those who can afford maintenance on an Italian sports car. I wouldn't recommend buying any of them and leasing if you absolutely must try one.

If you wanna buy Maserati for long time use then don't.

They are unreliable

Break down really fast

Have alot of electronic problems

Don't keep their value when selling

Expensive to maintain

Endless money pit

If you really wanna buy a Maserati in my opinion get a used one from 2010 u will get it around $10000.

But if you wanna a luxury car for long time use get Acura or lexus

U can also get honda accord or toyota avalon. These two might have toyota and Honda name plate. But they are super luxurious and have everything u need from luxury cars.

Power

Performance

Reliability

Easy to maintain

Can last long time

Bang for the buck

It is strongly recommended not to buy but to lease those vehicles, and then return before the warranty (bumper to bumper) expires.  Now the only luxury vehicle worth buying is Lexus (with one exception).  You mention the LC500 which is a luxury sports coupe, or did you mean the LS500 the luxury sports sedan?  If it’s the LS500 (sedan), since it has had reliability issues out of the gate and jury is out on its long term reliability, I would also just lease that vehicle;  however, the LC500 (coupe) - which has much less tech than the LS500 and more true/tried powertrain - has been holding up pretty well so far, so you could buy that.  The LC500 (coupe) is a rare and special vehicle and those Maseratis do not hold a candle to it.

Thumbs up for LC500! It’s really not a real sports car, … but in straight line, open road, pedal to the floor, … and you will feel tickled pink!

Well, the term "Best Maserati" doesn't exist, lol. They have nice Ferrari-built engines, but the whole car falls apart as they age because it's Italian technology. You mentioned that you are considering the LC 500, I would buy that, assuming you have the money for it. The LC 500 has that tried and true 5.0 V8 that can last for many years to come and they are rarer than a Maserati because Lexus doesn't sell that many of them. Plus they look cool 🙂

Yah, … there is a Maserati just next south to my adobe, … sharing a carriage house with an Audi and an Acura. Good thing there is that Acura! Otherwise, the family residing next door would use my neighbourly taxi service more often than they are using currently to ferry them back from a local Maserati emporium and Audi specialist shop.

Anyway, … that Maserati, … is ~2/3 of the time immobile - mostly pushed to and parked by the dealers North shop wall, … awaiting parts to complete most frequent repairs schedule I ever witnessed for a new car! (… although, I tell you, that Maserati sounds fabulous when it engine starts, and for some undogly reason works fine for a while!). Just a short tale for your wife, …

F.S.
